3. Local Storage Only

Any preferences you configure within the Nexus extension (such as toggling the MEV Protection UI) are stored strictly locally on your device using the browser's native `localStorage` API. This data is never transmitted to external servers.

4. Identity Verification

To finalize the simulated RPC tunnel connection and prevent Sybil attacks, users may be directed to our central dashboard. This process is isolated from the extension's core functionality.
